Dr. Mikel Maria Delgado, a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist and Cat Behavior Consultant, has dedicated over 20 years to working with cats. She co-founded Feline Minds after serving as a cat behavior specialist at the San Francisco SPCA. With a PhD in animal behavior and cognition, she researched the behaviors of cats and orphaned neonatal kittens. Mikel authored the book "Total Cat Mojo" and will release "Play with Your Cat!" in 2024. She resides in Sacramento with her boyfriend and three cherished feline companions.
